Many of you might know that Chad Wiedmaier, a senior defenseman from Princeton University has a connection to CM LAX through the Duarte-Silva twins on the 7th grade team. Chad is part of a wonderful organization called Fields of Growth and he is collecting boys and girls lacrosse equipment to be sent to Uganda. They are looking for new or used, but good equipment (sticks, heads, pads, helmets, and anything LAX). Chad will be sending off a container to Uganda in the very near future. Emails:

Patriots 5K/8K Race - 6/23 Brookside Community Club
posted 5/2/2012 by wendy The Patriots 5K/8K Race is brought to you by the Mendham Township Recreation Commission in partnership with the "Kids4Kids Foundation" of Goryeb Children’s Hospital in Morristown. Race proceeds will benefit "Kids4Kids" youth volunteers, who are trying to make a stay at the hospital less stressful for other children, including buying TV sets for the inpatient and pediatric intensive care unit and creating a flower garden near the children’s wing for patients and their families to relax in, among other projects. Since that time, it has grown into one of the largest women's lacrosse events in the nation. It is a true celebration of women's lacrosse and continues to represent the heartbeat of the game. Tournament highlights include division championships, a U.S. Team exhibition, an annual high school all-star game and a premier recruiting opportunity for high school players.
